VM Suomalainen Strengthens Its Leadership – Teemu Lantto Appointed CEO, Santtu Kajahde to Become Technical Director

VM Suomalainen Oy, a member of Lohkare Infra Group, has appointed Teemu Lantto as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective 19 October 2026. He succeeds Santtu Kajahde, who will transition to the role of Technical Director at his own request, focusing on the further development of the company’s operations, systems and processes.

Under Kajahde’s leadership, VM Suomalainen has established itself as one of Finland’s most successful infrastructure construction companies, generating approximately EUR 105 million in revenue in 2025. During his tenure, the company also became part of Lohkare Infra Group.

Extensive International Experience to Support Further Growth

Incoming CEO Teemu Lantto brings extensive leadership experience from the construction and industrial sectors, both in Finland and internationally. His previous positions include serving as CEO of GRK and holding senior management roles in major international industrial investment projects.

Lantto sees a strong foundation for the company’s continued development.
