Lauri Utriainen appointed CEO of Maalinja Oy
Lauri Utriainen has been appointed CEO of Maalinja Oy. In his role Utriainen will also join the Lohkare Infra groups management team. He will assume his position on June 1, 2026.
Utriainen joins from Helen Ltd., where he serves as Director responsible for district heating and cooling distribution operations. In addition, he is the CEO of Helsingin Energiatunnelit Oy, a company within the Helen Group. He has approximately 15 years of experience in the energy and infrastructure sectors, along with a broad background in leading infrastructure projects and developing business operations.

Maalinja is part of the Lohkare Infra Group and operates in infrastructure construction projects across Finland. Utriainen will also be responsible for the operations of Maalinja’s subsidiary, EPR Asennus Oy. The current CEO of Maalinja Oy, Esko Hakkarainen, will continue with the company in other roles.
In his position, Utriainen will also be a member of the Lohkare Infra management team. According to Utriainen, the company has strong foundations to continue its growth and to develop its operations together with its personnel and customers.
